Replace the standard hub on that entry level race bike with this sealed bearing offering that can be configured as a disc brake hub with the purchase of centre-lock disc adapter to future-proof your bike.

It’s becoming more and more common to see disc brake options being offered on after-market frames, even down to the junior sizes, and if you choose this rear hub from Excess, you can rest easy knowing that if you upgrade the frame, you can choose a disc-brake only frame, you won’t have to build another set of wheels. You simply convert this hub, add the disc brake system and you’ll be washing off your speed as you cross the line with ease with full control as you point to the fans in the stands celebrating the W with you.
