The Madera Gulf Coaster hub is built by Profile in the good old USA and uses the same freecoaster / cassette technology as the Profile ZCoaster hub. The Gulf Coaster is set up to work like a cassette hub until you disengage it turning it into a freecoatser. This makes the hub more durable as well as opens up some tricks that may require pedal pressure that you can’t really do with a normal freecoaster hub. The Gulf Coaster comes in black, RHD, with a 14mm axle and 90 degree slack set up only.
