Pride have released a premium aluminium rim for those not yet jumping on the carbon bandwagon. Manufactured from super strong 6069-T6 aluminium, they have a rim for every race bike and because V-brakes are so last decade, these rims have no braking surface meaning that your race bike is a disc set up.
This Pride Helium model is the expert rim, which is narrower than the Pro rim and designed to take smaller 20×1.40 – 20×1.60 tyres. Lighter than most carbon rims out on the market yet, they are still strong with a double-walled construction.
